My work in Medicare became personal when my brother-in-law was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and we discovered his Medicare hadn’t been set up correctly. I saw firsthand how challenging — and costly — it can be to get diagnosed, treated, and medically supported when the coverage you need isn’t in place.
That experience became my driver and my mission: to be a guide for people transitioning to Medicare — to educate, prepare, and equip them to make informed decisions.
No one should ever find themselves facing a serious medical issue only to find out they don’t have adequate health insurance coverage to face it.
